Introduction to The Helper
Connecting with others on a personal level has always been a unique and natural ability of mine. I feel deeply and understand the needs of others. Having the ability to relate empathetically to the emotions of those around me connects me to the place where they are in the moment. Even though I am one person with one life, I feel I have lived a thousand more.
A highlight reel to my stories would read like a frustrated comical satire of errors, with mixed blessings, pain, heartache, love, and now, my path to personal freedom. It was a 40-year struggle cultivated from my life experiences, self-discoveries, and the willingness to help others that brought me here today.
My purpose in life, is to be all that God has called me to be. The Helper embraces organization and plans for unpredictability while using innovation to get the best results with a loving and favored pace.
Others have told me I’m Multi-faceted, a Jane of all trades, but for me, it has always been as simple as helping others wherever I can…”no one true calling”. Recently, I took an Enneagram Personality test and discovered I was a 1-Reformer and 2, my second wing-The Helper.
Reforming, Structuring, and Restoring has always been a niche for me. My characteristics make up a big part of who I am. It confirmed things I already knew about myself, but to see it was very intriguing for an analytical mind like mine.
Being a 1-the Reformer, I learned that structure and order is where I thrive. Also, being a wing 2-the helper, I discovered that helping is also where I thrive. Morphing these two together fuels my passion and desire to help others. I relate to the indifferent, the broken, the messy, and the disconnected places in life. With that said, my purpose is to help others reach their full potential.
God has prepared, equipped, and trained his servant with gifts, talents, and abilities offered in love.
The goal of The Helper is to be a Humanitarian to all-Helping others without reward, and the desire to show the love of Jesus Christ to everyone through kindness, compassion, spirituality, fairness, prudence, and creativity.
